Productivity Hacks for 2025

The promise of a new year means a brand new opportunity to be as productive as possible for us all. But where do we start?

In order to be productive, we need to know where we are heading with our intentions and the overall picture of what we would like to achieve.

As a helpful offering to get you off the starting block, we thought we would list out a range of productivity hacks that can set you on the right course from the get-go.

Before we get into the detail, one key aspect that we ask you to remember, is to not try and juggle too many tasks at once. This is a sure fire way to becoming overwhelmed and can set your progress back. Chunk your ambitions into smaller, achievable actions and you are well on your way to achieving them.

Once you’ve done that, give these helpful methods a try:

1. Time Blocking

Becoming transparent and intentional in where we spend our time is one of the first aspects of productivity that we should turn our attentions to when mapping out our ambitions.

Do you know that you spend your time in a productive and decisive way? Are you utilising your time in an approach that sees you ticking lots off your to-do list?

Or are you losing time in endless meetings or replicating the work of your team?

If you’re not sure where your time has gone at the end of every week, try blocking out your time into half-hour sections. Even approaching this for your working hours alone will improve your ability to track progress and productivity.

2. Using a productivity app such as Trello, Asana or Notion (other similar providers are available).

Let technology take the heavy lifting and support you in your endeavours!

There are a number of task planning tools available that can help you to organise your workload and share this information with your team (if you wish).

By combining a tool such as this with the task completion power of a VA, you are much more likely to end 2025 with a whole host of completed projects and positive outcomes!

3. Getting crystal clear on your intentions for the year.

Reverse engineer your ambitions by having full clarity of what you’d like to achieve.

Working with a VA means that you can map out the process together and have full understanding of what you need to tackle first.
