Services FAQs
What does a support specialist do?
A support specialist should be a natural extension of your business. We take on a multitude of tasks, that frees you up to do what you do best and what you enjoy most. We can help with a range of general tasks including admin, bookkeeping, general marketing and support customer services.
We also offer specialist help for independent short-let property managerss and event managers and planners.
How much does a support specialist cost?
The cost of using a support specialist often depends on the type and number of hours of support you require.
Our Retainer Packages start at 10+ hours per month. Hours are invoiced and due for payment upfront. This guarantees your time each month. You can find out more about our rates on our Prices page.
How does the ‘virtual’ element work?
The joys of modern technology allows us to work with you remotely very effectively.
For example, you do not have share all of your login details and yet we are able to access many different accounts, systems and software on your behalf, using an application LastPass.
We can also use cloud-based filing systems like DropBox, OneDrive and Google Drive to share documents and organise your files.
Using a support specialist can work really well, without ever having to be in the same room!
What are the benefits of using a VA?
A support specialist can be a great ‘first step’ if you are expanding and growing but do not feel ready to take on an employee. We work in a freelance capacity, so you don’t pay for breaks, sick days, annual leave or any other costs associated with having employees.
A support specialist is also incredibly cost effective. Pay only for the time taken to do certain tasks, and have work handed back, complete, by the deadline agreed.
Hiring a support specialist means you can access skills you do not have and hand over tasks you no longer wish to do or have time for.
I'd love to hire you, but I don’t know what to hand over?
It can be hard deciding what it is you want help with from a VA. Take a look at our admin, event management and travel planning service pages to learn more about the range of support we offer.
Then, consider what:
- skilled tasks you have to do that you aren’t so experienced with
- repetitive and time-consuming tasks are you fed up with
- your ‘ideal world’ would look like
You don’t have to do this alone.
We are happy to discuss your business and work out who and how we can best support you. Book a call.
