We bring together a team of people with a range of expertise to offer specialist support for small business owners, particularly in the areas of administration, processes, bookkeeping, operational management and marketing.

Founder and Virtual Support Manager
Meet Kelly, the driving force behind Light Touch Virtual Support.
I’ve spent much of my career in travel, hospitality, event management, and holiday lets – there’s a clear theme of travel and holidays throughout!
My background includes HR and finance roles supporting these industries, but I’ve always gravitated toward management and organisational positions.
Before founding Light Touch Virtual Support, I worked as an Internal Operations Director for a successful events and marketing agency. In this role, I supported a small operational team, led the Senior Management Team, and worked closely with the Managing Director to drive the business forward.
In 2022, I took the leap to set up my own business, focusing on online operations, with the aim of achieving the elusive ‘ideal’ work-life balance.

“I started my career in hospitality and customer service before transitioning into finance and HR, which eventually led me to more operational roles. I spent over 20 years as an Administration Manager and Business Manager for a landscaping company. Initially, I supported the Managing Directors, but over time, I took on the full running of the business, allowing them to step away with confidence, knowing their company was in safe hands.
I moved into support work seeking a slower pace, but I was keen to use my experience and knowledge to help others. This role offers the flexibility I value, giving me more time for long walks with my dog and being present for my grandchildren. I understand how important this balance is and love providing support to busy business owners so they can achieve it too.”

Meet Kay, a versatile professional with extensive experience in banking and beyond.
“I spent 15 years in the banking industry, working across diverse roles including debt recovery, HR, call centre management, customer relations, and training and mentoring.
These experiences have honed my ability to manage people, resolve issues, and maintain a high standard of quality in everything I do.
Outside of work, I’m a mother of two with a passion for upcycling furniture and crafting. I’m also deeply involved in my community as a Parent Governor at the local nursery and a volunteer for charitable organisations and events, particularly those focused on green and sustainable living.
I’m proud to be Lean accredited and bring a detail-oriented, quality-focused approach to all aspects of my work.”

“I began my career in 2018, running my own holiday let business in Argentina before moving into large-scale property management. I’ve since managed over 100 properties in Brighton and supported more than 1,500 homes across the UK in a corporate role.
Alongside my operational experience, I specialise in creating bespoke Monday.com setups that simplify workflows, strengthen processes, and support efficient, stress-free management. I design systems that bring clarity to complex operations, helping owners and teams work with confidence and ease.

“I have spent the last ten years working in the finance industry in roles spanning accounts payable, receivables, debt recovery, payroll, and financial management. This breadth of experience allows me to support small business owners with both the everyday financial tasks and the more complex areas that often take up valuable time and headspace.
I focus on bringing clarity, accuracy, and calm to the financial side of a business, giving my clients the freedom to focus on what they do best, knowing their numbers are managed with care. I’m committed to helping business owners feel confident and in control of their finances, reducing the pressure around bookkeeping, day-to-day tasks, and staying tax efficient.
Outside of work, I’m a mother of two and enjoy spending weekends at our family’s holiday home, exploring the Peak District together.”
